How I Get Glam for a Night on the Toon

It’s not always easy being a girl, especially during party season. Boys can just throw on some aftershave and  rock up to a night out in jeans and a nice shirt, but a lot more preparation is required for us females. Truth be told, I’ve never been much good at primping and preening but I do love to be pampered so my preferred method of party prep is to let someone else do it for me!

I like to look dramatically different when I head out for a night on the Toon, my day time look is rather plain and understated so I go all out when I get the chance. Thankfully, I’ve now discovered the perfect place to achieve a glamorous makeover without lifting a finger, allow me to introduce you to Glam Squad Express!

I recently arrived on a Friday afternoon, flustered and frazzled from a hectic morning at work. I had a party to be at two hours later and the team at Glam Squad Express made sure I left the salon looking and feeling like a totally new woman!

I had an eye makeover which meant a professional make up artist spent almost an hour re-creating the metallic look I had shown her on an instagram post. She added false eyelashes too, I always struggle to apply my own and usually give up but my make up artist made it look so easy!

I then had my hair curled with GHD’s while sipping on a glass of a prossecco. I could feel that not only was my look being transformed but my mood was too.
